Lizzo called Andy Cohen in Siriusxm’s spicy interview, why beef?

Lizzo did not hold back when he sat with Andy Cohen On his Siriusxm radio show, “Andy Cohen Live,” Calling him out because he accidentally established his relationship with Myke Wright’s girlfriend before they go public.

During the conversation, Andy Cohen asked Lizzo whether he “fell in love” with Wright, a question he previously asked him in 2022, long before he officially confirmed the romance.

“I really have beef with you because the last time we saw each other you F-Cking came out me!” Lizzo is joking, per Page six. “It is very funny.”

Cohen admitted that he was not aware of “stepping on SH-T” when he initially asked a question, pushing Lizzo to reflect on how uncomfortable the moment was for him at that time.

“I am in a strange position because, like, we are very personal,” he explained. “But he was there and I was like, ‘I don’t want to say’ no ‘because I don’t want to like (hurt him).'”

Lizzo and Wright were first seen together in 2021, but the couple did not officially confirm their relationship until June 2022, when they made their red carpet debut only a few months after Cohen’s interview.

When Cohen asked whether his question caused a problem between him and Wright, Lizzo assured him that everything between them remained solid.

“But that starts with the world,” he laughed. “I think when the world sees two happy people, they want to destroy them.”

Outside the relationship, Lizzo also got honest about the mental health challenges he faced after being beaten with many lawsuits in 2023, including allegations of sexual harassment and violations in the workplace by former background dancers.

During the new concert in Los Angeles, the singer “Truth Hurts” revealed how deep the accusation influenced him.

In December 2024, Lizzo scored a partial law victory when a California judge rejected several claims from the September 2023 harassment lawsuit filed against his “big big tour” company by former Asha Daniels Stylist.

Daniels accused racial and sexual harassment by members of the Lizzo Management Team, accused them of making Fatphobic statements and fostering hostile work environments. The lawsuit also claimed that the black woman on the tour was called “stupid,” “useless,” and “fat.”

On Monday, December 2, judge Fernando L. Aenlle-Rocha decided to support the Lizzo team, rejected several claims on the basis that the US Labor Law did not apply because Daniels was employed while the tour was in Europe.

“This accusation does not make a sense that every part of the plaintiff’s claim arises from work carried out in the United States or regions that meet the requirements,” said the judge, according to him, according to the judge Page six.

In addition, the judge noted that Daniels failed to provide evidence that proved that he was owing to his work on the tour.

This is not the first time the Lizzo legal team has fought back the claim of Daniels. In December 2023, the singer’s lawyer filed an objection to the lawsuit at the Los Angeles High Court, called the accusation as “inappropriate and obscene actions” from someone who worked less than three weeks.

They further argue that Daniels has “refused to comply with instructions” from his superiors and show unprofessional behavior on tour.

The lawsuit was just one of several legal battles that had triggered a broad controversy around Lizzo, 36, which led to negative publicity attacks. His attack became extraordinary that Lizzo descended to Instagram earlier this year, expressed frustration of supervision.

“I did not register for this SH-T,” he vent one post, signaling his mind to leave the industry altogether.

In another statement, he strongly denied the accusation, calling them “hard to believe” and “outrageous.”

“Usually, I choose not to respond to false accusations, but this is as difficult as it sounds and is too outrageous not to be treated,” he wrote. “This sensational story comes from a former employee who has openly recognized that they were told their behavior on the tour inappropriate and unprofessional.”
