Prince William struggles to make peace with the diagnosis of his wife’s cancer

Contemplating the history of his family’s health about good health, he described how the news “brought (he) to several places that were quite bad.”

Kate Middleton has completed treatment and returned to public duties, while Raja Charles has just shared that he “did not do too bad.”

In a preview clip from his upcoming appearance on Apple TV+”The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy”, Prince Wales admitted that the experience brought him to “some places that were quite good.”

Contemplating the history of his family, William noted that they had enjoyed excellent health for several generations.

“We do not have many diseases of the family for a very long time,” he explained, given how his grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, lived up to the end of the nine dozens and strength, endurance, and resilience that realized.

“They are a vision of fitness, fortitude, and endurance, if you like it. So we are very fortunate as family,” he added, per per Page six. “But I think, when you suddenly realize that the carpet, if you are a metaphorical rug, can be pulled from under your feet quite fast at any point.”

The good history of health, William explained, made a double diagnosis even more thunderous.

“You might think for yourself, ‘That won’t happen to us, we will be fine,'” He pondered. “Because I think everyone has a positive view, you must be positive. But when it happens to you, then it takes you to some places that are not good enough.”

The royal household was handled by a heavy blow last year when Charles, 76, and Kate, 43, announced that they had been diagnosed with cancer.

In February 2024, Buckingham Palace revealed that Charles had been found after treatment for benign prostate conditions.

Only a month later, Kate shared in a video message that she had started chemotherapy after her own diagnosis.

He completed his treatment in September 2024 and, four months later, confirmed that he was free of cancer.

“I remain focused on recovery,” he wrote in January, adding that “Because anyone who has experienced a diagnosis of cancer will know, it takes time to adjust.”

In recent months, The Princess of Wales gradually returned to its public duties, appearing on the Trooping The Color in June and then joined the royal family for the state of the country in England last month.

Charles also gave a brief health update in September, commented that he “did not do too bad,” a rare personal commented on his sustainable recovery.

During his appearance, William also allowed his personal emotions, speaking openly about the late Ratu Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

“Actually I am really really, yes, I miss my grandmother, and my grandfather,” he admitted when asked by Levy about his late grandfather. “It has changed a little,” he said, adding that he often thought of them “Not here anymore.”

The exchange occurred while William guided the actor “Schitt’s Creek” around Windsor with electronics, showing places that were tightly bound by the memory of the Queen.

“He likes it here; he spends most of his time here,” he explained, noting his affection for Windsor Great Park and Windsor Castle. “For me, Windsor is him.”

He added that leading the tour brought a sense of task: “Showing you today is a case that tries to make sure I do it in the way he wants to see. He also has his horse here, as you can imagine, it is a big problem for him, so that’s why he likes it here.”
