Do you know that the previous companion twist hurt the film?

This is Big Twist, and to be fair, “Companion” has more bends on his arm when the film continues, and this bend has not been spoiled by the trailer. However, the question remains: Why do the people involved with “companions” feel the need to reveal that Iris is a robot before the film comes out? “Companion” produced by Zach Ceregger, the filmmaker behind “Barbarian” previously mentioned earlier. It is another film with many bends, and the trailer has avoided it to give almost everything. For example: incident inciting the film found a woman named Tess (Georgina Campbell) appearing in Airbnb to find it has been occupied by someone else, a man named Keith, played by Count Orlok himself, Bill SkarsgĂ„rd. Immediately, tension arises: Should Tess enter the house with this strange man? What if he is dangerous for him? Spoiler Warning: Tess indeed entered the house, and finally we learned that Keith was really not dangerous. Unfortunately, there was a terrible killer hiding in the basement of the house, and he finally destroyed Keith’s skull and took Tess prisoners. But all this is not in the trailer for “Barbarian,” and the surprise helps make the film better. The “companion” trailer who revealed iris was the same love as a tempting for “barbarians” revealed that Keith was innocent and made his skull destroyed in the first action of this film.

However, do you know the “companion” twist about Iris hurt this film? I think it depends on the audience. When my girlfriend learned that the trailer gave the Robotic Iris nature after the fact, he stated that he felt he would not enjoy that many films if he had this knowledge. But I has See the trailer, and you know what? I finally loved “companion” (you can read my review here). In the end, I was slightly split in the middle -middle here. On the one hand, I thought I would prefer the film if I didn’t know the previous twist. On the other hand, I think this film is still working well even if you know the twist.

In fact, knowing the twist actually added pleasure to the initial scene of the film. In the opening scene, Drew Hancock writers dropped some pleasant little instructions about iris. After a flashback flashback, Iris was introduced in the passenger seat of Josh’s car, it seemed to fall asleep. “Iris, wake up,” said Josh, who raised iris. Now, if you don’t know the twist, you can read this scene in an incorrect way: Iris falls asleep, and hear Josh’s voice waking it up. However, once you know that Iris is a robot in Josh’s command, you realize that he literally Bring it online by giving him an order. Then, Iris and Josh were displayed in bed together. Iris continued to ask Josh’s question, which Josh sounded, sounded annoyed, saying: “Iris, sleeping.” Once again: If you don’t know Iris is a bot, you interpret this scene because Josh is a little rude to his girlfriend. However, knowing what Iris made a different play scene: after Josh said “Iris, go to sleep,” Iris stopped talking – because Josh literally close it for tonight. The next day, Josh asked the slice of what his weather was, and he obediently gave him information like he was reading the weather report. “It’s never old,” Josh said, laughing. We Can Read this scene as if we watched a pleasant joke among couples. But if you know the twist, you realize that Josh asks for the weather like the way someone asks the same question about their Amazon Alexa device.
